Through our business operations and expertise, we focus mainly on goals 3, 6, 12, 13 & 15, as they are the ones where we believe that we can truly make an impact. Our sustainability platforms – Well-being, More From Less, and Circularity – enable us to create true value for and together with our customers, partners and the society.
Goal 3
Tork works to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. We have educated over 175 000 people worldwide on hand hygiene, through the Tork Clean Care Program.
Goal 6
Tork contributes to safe and clean water supplies by innovating solutions that reduce the need for use of solvents when cleaning. Tork exelCLEAN saves up to 41% of solvents.1
Goal 12
We focus on enabling Sustainable consumption and production patterns, by designing products that do more from less. For example, Tork Xpressnap Fit reduces the amount of unused napkins thrown away by 50%.2
Goal 13
Tork is taking real action to mitigate climate change and enable our partners to do the same. Through services like Tork PaperCircle we can cut the carbon footprint of paper hand towels by at least 40%3 (available in selected EU countries).
Goal 15
Tork takes responsibility for Sustainably managed forests. 100% of our fresh wood-based raw materials will come from FCS certified forests.
